The client is a premium boutique management consulting firm in the Australian market. With a strong presence in other Australian cities, this firm is now growing rapidly and looking to solidify its presence in the Melbourne market.

The firm is led by a executive management team with long tenure in world leading consulting organisations, and has a dynamic client portfolio of senior executives and boards. Consultants work closely with these businesses to maximise profit and potential of their business, delivering results in strategy definition, performance improvement, organisation effectiveness and transactional support.

The Role

An exciting opportunity exists to get in on the ground floor and be part of this remarkable growth journey! As a valued member of the team, you will contribute to a high-performing, entrepreneurial team, and advance the firm's East Coast reputation.

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead high value client engagements, managing the case team to deliver outstanding results
  • Influence senior-level thinking and stakeholders at all levels and move clients to action
  • Coach, develop, mentor and train more junior staff members, and help with internal practice development activities
  • Nurture and grow client relationships and take ownership of some aspects of the business development function

Your Profile

A dynamic and passionate individual, you will be excited about joining a business and being part of the growth journey. In addition to the usual "can do" consulting attitude, you will have:

  • 2+ years management consulting experience from a highly regarded, local consulting firm
  • Exceptional structured problem solving methodology and analytical capability, and the ability to deliver large scale strategic projects
  • Strong capabilities in stakeholder management and communication, and a high level of gravitas
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of all elements of project lifecycle
  • Collaborative approach and proclivity for team building, practice development and working closely with other consultants.
