About the role

This is a brand new opportunity driving effective risk and compliance management practices across large scale, enterprise wide transformation program. They are looking for an experienced and skilled operational risk manager with project management experience to join their high performing team.

Duties

You will be responsible for providing insight and recommendations on key risks and control issues within Consumer Banking projects.

  • Assist in driving a risk culture which promotes day to day Risk awareness
  • Provide recommendations on key risks and controls across the project portfolio
  • Maintain strong working relationships with the key stakeholders of the project and wider business.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Demonstrated Operational Risk/Controls/Internal Audit experience
  • Project management skills, with a proven track record in effectively managing multiple projects and stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze trends, identify critical threats and opportunities, diagnose problems and issues, and recommend appropriate actions
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Understanding of consumer banking products and customers
  • Curiosity and motivation to improve the process
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
