Newly created role. Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to act as the lead compliance manager across all Commercial Lending and Asset Finance products at this "Big 4" Domestic Bank.

Reporting into the Head of Compliance, you will engage with senior management and manage all regulatory interactions regarding business lending. This broad end to end role, will provide full authority and delegation to manage regulatory matters in relation to business lending. You will take the lead and deliver consistent and fit for purpose compliance management support to the business.

  • Advise and support Line 1 to identify, understand and comply with regulatory and licencing obligations
  • Provide regulatory and policy advice, independent review, challenge, direction and training to all levels of stakeholders
  • Manage and lead engagement with regulators on all Business Lending matters relating to ASIC, APRA, and the CCMCPartner with Remediation teams, and Group Operation functions to share insights on alignment and optimisation efforts of remediation
  • Participate in key business and leadership forums to identify and discuss thematic trends and provide regulatory guidance on matters that impact business decision-making

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • 3-5+ years 2nd line Regulatory Compliance advisory experience
  • In depth knowledge of banking and financial services laws, codes, regulations and industry/regulatory standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively at all stakeholder levels
  • Strategic and analytical thinking and solid business acumen
