Large wealth management organisation seeks Senior Manager to join policy framework transformation project. Policy review and writing exp. essential.

We are working with a leading wealth management organisation which is currently undertaking a large policy framework transformation project. A company-wide review of the existing policies in place is currently underway. As a result, our client is seeking a team of Senior Operational Risk Managers with experience in policy review and writing, to join on a min. 6 month contract basis.

Role and Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for collecting, altering where required, and setting up a suite of policies required for the business to be able to meet risk appetite and set clear guidelines for the in-scope businesses. Your objective will be to constructively challenge current policies and application to risk appetite, create clarity from policy ambiguity, and simplify and reduce existing policies through open dialogue with key stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Review, amend, and draft product and business policies
  • Engage with various levels of the business to understand policy intentions
  • Facilitate workshops to encourage buy-in and educate on risks
  • Act as point of contact to senior stakeholders for policy project
  • Test policies on user group to ensure 'fit for purpose'


  • 5+ years' Risk Management experience within corporate environment OR 5+ years' policy writing experience
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting policies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - to be able to interact with all levels of the business
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines
