Fantastic opportunity to pioneer the compliance frameworks at a global retail bank. In addition, manage and develop your own highly skilled and dynamic compliance team as well as overseeing the AML compliance and reporting functions.
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for training and developing a highly knowledgeable and engaged compliance team, implementing the team objectives and KPIs within the allocated budget.
Develop, manage and maintain the group wide compliance framework in line with the external regulation and industry standards as well as the internal bank objectives, policy and strategic outcomes. Have the opportunity to define and set a standard for a powerful compliance culture across the business.
Ensure an effective AML Compliance legislation and training is in place, while undertaking testing and reporting on AML/CTF obligations.
Manage breach and incident reporting, presenting compliance reports to areas such as Board and Exec Management, ASIC/APRA/FOS regulators, Whistleblower requirements, Austrac Suspicious Events Reporting.
