THE ROLE

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager to play a crucial part in supporting the Enterprise Compliance Monitoring & Surveillance team.

This role will see you play a critical part in completing compliance monitoring activities across Consumer and Business Banking business units. You will support key stakeholders and assist with the identification of risk indicators and continuously strive to do things better and more efficiently.

  • Plan, design and execute second line monitoring:
    • Email and telecommunication surveillance
    • "Deep dive" reviews
    • Monitoring of KRI's across a multi-brand business
    • Development of early warning indicators
  • Prepare comprehensive reports to the business with recommendations on each monitoring assignment to be conducted
  • Develop and manage strong divisional relationships with business partners
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders within Compliance

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • "Hands on" experience with Compliance frameworks (including 3LoD) in financial services
  • Good knowledge of FS legislation including: NCCP/Responsible Lending/BCOP/Privacy
  • Proven oral and written communication skills and senior stakeholder mgmt experience
  • Exposure to risk and control management frameworks and assurance techniques
  • Ability to critically analyse business data and documentation
  • Demonstrated commercial judgment and problem solving skills
