Executive leadership position within the Risk and Compliance function of a superannuation company

The opportunity

 

This is a rare opportunity to join one of Australia's largest superannuation companies, reporting directly to a forward-thinking and inspirational CEO.

 

You will join a high performing, collaborative executive team as their trusted Risk advisor. Working within an organisation with minimal red tape and bureaucracy, with values focused on integrity and transparency you will have the opportunity to lead a large team through all the changes being faced within the industry.

 

This role will give you a sense of ownership as a respected leader to the large and experienced risk & compliance team; promoting professional development and motivating the teams to reach their potential.

 

Your teams will continue developing fit for purpose risk and compliance frameworks across changing entities, which adequately protect the Fund from emerging risks. You will be naturally supporting the Line 1 risk functions, addressing key risk and compliance information and reporting to make crucial business decisions.

 

Your experience and ability:

  • Experience in an executive leadership position within the Risk and Compliance function of a superannuation company, or division of a larger business
  • Ability to engage, lead and develop experienced risk and compliance teams
  • Ability to engage, partner with, and influence executive-level leaders from across the organisation
  • Demonstrated thought leadership within Risk and Compliance
  • Harnessing risk culture during ambiguous times of major organisational change
  • Maintain industry-leading regulatory risk and compliance practice
