Senior Stakeholder engagement to set the strategy for credit risk models.

The Role

Newly created role for the purpose of leading the improvement of Credit Risk provisioning for wholesale lending risk. This role will give you the opportunity to genuinely influence the strategic decisions around Credit source data within the bank. You will be leading the way in developing and enhancing current credit modelling and governance in risk management.

On a day-to-day basis you will be directing all aspects relating to the provisioning and analysis of credit source data, reviewing credit models and measurement of exposures. As part of challenging credit portfolio loss management against capital standards, you will be further developing and enhancing models used in credit loss provisioning for our wholesale portfolio.

The Successful Candidate

Maintenance of stakeholder relationships across the business will be paramount in driving the improvements and strategic direction of the credit risk models.

This role requires your strong analytical approach and the ability to demonstrate that you are comfortable challenging current practices and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement. Typically your early career days would have been spent in credit risk with the use of PD, LGD and EAD modelling approaches.

Most importantly you will have demonstrated a high degree of stakeholder management and with well-developed influencing skills.
