High calibre Procurement team seeks passionate analyst to drive growth and analysis projects

The role

A newly created position exists within the global procurement function, located in Sydney CBD. Reporting directly to a Group Manager, the role would be tasked with critical analytical activity and tasks including:

  • Financial analysis and modelling;
  • Preparation of materials and documents for ExCo, including powerpoint decks, research reports, and benchmarking exercises;
  • Using BI tools to inform better business decisions; and
  • Undertaking ad hoc strategy, procurement, supply chain and finance projects with Group Executives

Your profile

You need to be ready to roll your sleeves up and help out with tasks across the entire group, and be open to some domestic and international travel to meet with relevant stakeholders.

You'll need to have 2 years' experience in a consulting firm.

Hopefully you've worked in mining or a similar industry, and can think on your feet in a strategic way (eg get stuck in to a case study!).

Preferably you will have some exposure to BI tools (eg Tableau or QuickView).

Finally, you'll need current Australian working rights.
