Having been on both sides of the Recruitment fence (as a candidate and consultant), my biggest piece of advice would be to always be open to having the discussion. Developing your personal and professional network, and keeping informed of market moves and updates, is key to your individual success. As the industry continues to evolve, the nature of recruitment will as well. I have worked with candidates over a period of months and years to better understand their career objectives and key motivators. This has meant that when opportunities arise, they are involved in the dialogue and are actively invested in the process.
My career in recruitment began in 2016 after spending 5 years working at an international law firm in both its Sydney and London offices.
During this time I gained extensive experience supporting senior management across all levels of the business and was involved in the implementation of the firms’ global strategy. I am passionate about providing pragmatic and helpful advice to clients and candidates and take a consultative approach to help guide candidates through the decision making process to ensure they are making the right long-term career moves.
