'Influence' the key ingredient for success

A huge thank you to all that attended our first Change Event of 2017, it was great to see so many familiar faces! I hope you all found it as inspiring as we did here at Morgan McKinley.

A special thanks to our guest speaker Michelle Gibbings, Managing Director – Change Meridian for her insightful presentation which provided ample ideas and tools for how to effectively influence your stakeholders.

It was great to hear from Michelle on how to overcome some of the challenges faced by change professionals in influencing change in complex environments.  Michelle struck a chord when highlighting that in order to effectively influence one must first look within.  

Michelle said: “When you are seeking to influence you must first understand yourself and how you are reacting to what is happening, before you can encourage and inspire others to change”.

Attendees on the night also walked away with a pack of information – including a copy of “The Eight Things Influential People Do Differently”, which Michelle generously shared.

The first Morgan McKinley Change Event of this year, the night was filled with food for thought and the opportunity for change professionals to network.
