The Company

This Australian manufacturing organisation, having experienced accelerated year on year growth and is looking to further expand the finance team. As a result they are now recruiting a talented Financial Accountant to be groomed to move into a senior finance position within 3 - 5 years.

The Role

Reporting into the finance director the focus of your role will be to assist in the timely preparation of financial and management reports in addition to driving process improvement across the organisation. In this hands on role your major responsibilities will include;

• Balance Sheet Reconciliations;
• Preparation of journals, fixed assets and depreciation's, accruals and pre-payments;
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management reports;
• Preparation of statutory accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, ABS reviews and ATO reporting;
• Preparation of intercompany reports;
• Assisting in the preparation of the budget for your business unit;
• Undertaking and participating in continuous improvement activity;
• Interacting with internal and external customers;
• Process improvement

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be part qualified CA or CPA, have strong technical accounting knowledge and have excellent stakeholder management skills. Candidates currently part of a graduate programme with a large listed organisation will be highly regarded.
