Part Time Customer Spend Officer

Job Description

Our client is a well established multi-national FMCG organisation with operations worldwide and employing over 20,000 staff. This client is recruiting an immediately available Part Time Customer Spend Officer for their operations for a 6 month contract.

This position will suit an individual who enjoys working within a dynamic, change driven, fast paced environment and excels within a team and also has the vision to want to progress and support management in their strategies. The individual will need to have very strong relationship building skills and leverage these skills to drive improvements within the business

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Manage the payment allocation processand ensure all payments are allocated to customer accounts in an accurate and timely manner

• Processing invoices and credit notes
• Bank Statement and G/L Reconciliations
• Ensuring prompt claim turnaround time by internal business partners
• Investigation and resolution of customer disputes.
• Communicate/analyse claims trends with Credit Risk Manager and Credit Controllers
• General administration
• SAP Experience in most recent position
• Part Qualified CPA

It is essential that you have an eye for detail, a high level of accuracy and demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines. Being customer focused, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are a must, so too is an enthusiastic and engaging manner and the drive to want to move into an accounting role in the future.

Part Quailfied CPA would also be desirable and experience using SAP is essential.
