Company Profile:

This well-known and successful FMCG business is experiencing significant growth and offers excellent opportunities for career advancement. An opportunity now exists for an exceptional finance professional to join the Australian Head Office in Sydney.

Role and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Sales Finance Manager and working as part of the Sales Finance Team, you will be the go to person for Sales, providing financial analysis and expertise to assist with strategic business decisions. You will support the Sales team to deliver its business plan and develop projections, weekly forecasts and Annual Operating Plans. You will also analyse variances and communicate these to the Sales Finance Manager.

In addition you will provide a variety of standardised reports to the Sales Finance Team for all Customers and be responsible for month end closing of results and management of Selling Expenses.

Qualifications:

CA/CPA qualified (or part qualified), you will be technically competent, currently working in a similar role in a large and complex business. Those looking to make the first move from a Chartered Accounting firm will also be considered, however you must be able to display strong commercial acumen. An excellent communicator, you will have the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders in both the Sales and Finance functions, and be able to critically analyse information and make clear recommendations.
