Job Description
Our client is a well-known wealth manager undergoing significant group-wide process improvements. Prior operational risk experience within the following disciplines is required: custody, superannuation, asset management, or managed funds
Role and Responsibilities:
* Assisting the business with risk profiling, quantitative risk assessments, key risk indicators and risk and control certifications and undertaking assurance.
* Identifying and monitor obligations with relevant requirements and standards contained within the regulatory systems and internal policies applicable to business operations.
* Provide ongoing communication on regulatory issues and requirements to all affected staff. Pro-actively identify key regulatory and legislative change impacting the business
* Oversee issues management process to ensure that risk and compliance incidents are captured, analysed, escalated as required, corrective action taken and progress reported.
* Working closely with the leadership team to understand the current status of projects and assist in effective change management
Requirements:
* 5-8 years relevant experience
* Solid hands-on operational risk framework experience
* Project management capabilities ie implementing new systems
* Adaptable and motivated
