Programme / Portfolio Manager

My client is regarded as one of the key domestic banks in the Australian market operating across Retail Banking, Funds Management, Wealth Management, Business Banking and Global Markets is Now seeking a Programme Manager to join a Project Delivery team that currently has a large portfolio of projects to be delivered in the Mortgage group. You will report to The GM of Mortgage Transformation and act as his right hand, be responsible for strategic management of the Mortgage portfolio, mange and control the distribution of the pooled BA’s and change managers but also get involved in to hands on Delivery.

• Possess a good Understanding of workflow and work force management 
• Possess a good understanding of Straight through processing form font to back office.
• Possess strong stakeholder management engagement skills.
• Have a good understanding of change management to ensure management of key stakeholder expectations are managed effectively and politicly.
• Experience of managing budgets in excess of $15millon.
• Experience in managing multiple work streams. 
• A good understanding of technology and how it effects the processing of mortgage documentation.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis and work with Training and Development to develop training solution
• Provide input to Programme Issues and Risks from a Change Management perspective.
• Engage system resources (eg, IT Delivery manager) to ensure that they understand the process and business impact of the proposed system build
• Engage stakeholders to derive communication and change management plans plus Business Impact Assessments
• Review all documents (eg, functional specs, BRD, etc) to ensure process and business impact can be addressed
• Represent the business perspective on solutions as well as any change requests proposed

You will ideally have come from a major banking group and will have ran large complex programmes of work, ideally posses an understanding of Mortgages and E2E mortgage operations and have worked with strategic portfolio management, candidate who are interested to transition from Management consulting into P&L will also be well regarded.
