Finance Business Partner

Job Description

The team is soon to embark on the annual planning cycle and this role has become available as existing resources are being cross trained and pulled onto the planning exercise. Therefore the team require an additional resource to run the business partnering and BAU aspects of the team's responsibilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Provision of strategic analysis to the Business and responding to ad-hoc analytical requests in a timely manner
• Reporting, analysis and interpretation of the monthly financial performance, including P&L and Balance Sheet the business units and APAC region
• Detailed quarterly reporting for group contributing towards group profit announcements and annual accounts
• Key contact point between the Business, and Finance for performance reporting matters
• Provide enhanced reporting and increased focus on analysis and interpretation of the Businesses for the APAC Executive
• Driving process and system improvements and efficiency savings

Candidate Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in the competencies and responsibilities outlined above gained ideally within financial services or from a relevant treasury finance team in a large international or ASX listed corporation.

You will also be a qualified accountant (CA/CPA/CIMA) with a history of adding real value to the bottom line. The bank is dynamic and fast paced environment and as such you will be enthusiastic, intelligent and able to think laterally to develop novel solutions. The ideal candidate will be analytically focussed with strong excel skills and combine this with first rate communication and interpersonal skills.
