Gerard Gardiner

Profile

Gerry is a senior consultant specialising in recruiting permanent accounting and finance professionals into the financial services sector. Prior to this role, he was a consultant focusing on interim recruitment for a number of Morgan McKinley’s top tier clients.

Gerry initially joined Morgan McKinley in August 2007 as our international candidate manager. This role saw him involved in a number of projects sourcing candidates from overseas for the Sydney market whilst also helping Australian candidates who wished to make the move overseas.

His research background and exposure to this specialist field has given Gerry a competitive advantage in sourcing and delivering high quality shortlists to clients and ensures that his candidates are getting professional and informed advice from an experienced consultant.

Gerry began his career working as an operations manager for a leading retail and leisure organisation in Ireland, where, as part of his role, he was heavily involved in recruitment. This experience gave Gerry significant exposure to the recruitment process and encouraged him to seek out a career in this field.

Gerry was born in Ireland and holds a BA in Business Studies from Limerick Institute of Technology. He is a sports lover and enjoys travel.
